"It" Bags for Winter

Men don't get why you need that big purse. We do. (In fact, we can't understand how they get through life without one.) Where else would you put your toiletries, aspirin, presentation, flash drive, business cards and other daily essentials? And not only that! "A beautiful bag is a great way to make a conservative work wardrobe stylish and polished," InStyle accessories director Meggan Crum tells PINK.

"It's one of the first things people notice when you walk into a meeting," she says. So here she spotlights the hottest handbag trends that work for work:

"Chain straps (like on the classical Chanel 255 bags) add a little class and lot of style without looking too trendy for work." Try B. Makowsky, Kate Spade, Gianni Bini and Banana Republic.
