PINK celebrates first anniversary with region's highest industry awards and Iman, supermodel turned multi-million dollar entrepreneur

ATLANTA, May 23, 2006 -- Today PINK magazine revealed their first anniversary issue, just a week after accepting eight GAMMA awards (presented by the Magazine Association of the Southeast). PINK took home not only the awards for "Best Website" and "General Excellence" in the Consumer/Paid (more than $1 million) category but also the "Grand Gamma" – the evening's top award. Celebrating a successful year, the June.July issue includes strategies for dealing with office back-stabbers, insight into corporate women falling off the career ladder and how sustainability boosts profits.

Founders Cynthia Good and Genevieve Bos are thrilled with the past year's accomplishments and are looking forward to future growth and continued success.

"The reason PINK is a success is that there is huge passion behind it," said Cynthia Good, CEO and founding editor of PINK.  "Women today are hungry to be heard and to share and realize their dreams.  They know success is not just about money and status –  but really about authenticity and significance."

"We were named one of the top magazine launches of 2005 by Mr. Magazine and the third best new magazine of 2005  by Amazon.com. And we just increased circulation by 15%," said Genevieve Bos, founding publisher and president of PINK."

This special Anniversary and Sustainability issue highlights:
