PINK magazine a WBENC certified 100 percent woman-owned company

Atlanta, GA (April 11, 2006)PINK, the only national magazine, website and series of events for professional women, received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Georgia Women's Business Council (GWBC), a regional partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC's national standard of certification implemented by the GWBC is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

PINK is 100% woman-owned by Founding Editor Cynthia Good and Founding Publisher Genevieve Bos. "As a woman-owned business, PINK has an ongoing commitment to supporting other women and minorities in their entrepreneurial endeavors," says Bos. "It's becoming increasingly important in corporate America to support women and minority-owned businesses and we are thrilled to be part of this thriving group."

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and continued development of supplier/vendor diversity programs.
