Spirit Wisdom By Indrani Nathu Goradia A very wise man once said that "we are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience." We tend to forget that we are of divine order and can access divine guidance at any time. As life unfolds, we attach to certain outcomes and oftentimes try to force the solutions that we want. The next time that you encounter resistance to the solution that you are engineering, try the following exercise: S stop P pay attention to your outer body I inhale/exhale s l o w l y R relax the parts of your body that are most tense I investigate your inner chatter, is it verifiable? T trust your intuition. Intuition is our direct connection to our spirituality. It is always available, but often it's but a whisper. The only way to "hear" it, is to quiet our thoughts and invite it to take center stage. If we argue with it, it will disappear. By allowing ourselves a little breathing room we often "see" other options because we have cleared some of our inner obstacles. Sometimes the best course of action is none at all. If the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. Indrani Nathu Goradia is a life coach who leads retreats and uses yoga and meditation in her work. She was trained by Dr. Martha Beck and has traveled with her as her assistant.
