Like Spider-Man, PINK knows that "with great power comes great responsbility."
That's why we work hard to help nonprofits that support women. At our fall conference series last year, we raised more than $20,000 for Girls Inc, and for this fall, our raffle proceeds will support Girls Inc and Dress for Success.
Here are just a few of our favorite charities:
Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is an independent nonprofit organization whose mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and genetic research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health. Since its inception in 1993 by founder Evelyn H. Lauder, the Foundation has raised more than $135 million, over $25 million in fiscal year 2005 alone. BCRF support sclinical research at cancer centers across the globe, conducting the most advanced and promising breast cancer research into new therapies and genetic links that will help lead to prevention and a cure.

CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty, whose mission is to serve individuals and families in the poorest communities in the world. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
Dress for Success

Dress for Success solves the "Catch-22" dilemma that confronts low-income women trying to enter the workforce: Without a job, how can you afford a suit? But without a suit, how can you get that job? With over 75 affiliate locations worldwide, Dress for Success provides professional clothing for women and responds to the needs of communities by providing programs that help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs, retain their new positions and succeed in the mainstream workplace.

Today, there are 3.6 million Girl Scouts 2.7 million girl members and 928,000 adult members working primarily as volunteers.
